Seeking Pain Management Medical Director in thriving economic community - Fargo, ND!!PRACTICE SPECIFICSAn interdisciplinary, outpatient-based pain management center offering a broad spectrum of treatments and procedures.Development of pain rehabilitation team representing physicians, nursing, patient education, psychology, chaplaincy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, chiropractic, interventional radiology, anesthesia, etc.This physician will serve as the Medical Director of the Pain Management Program to further implement and expand our regional comprehensive program which may include patient care, research and education.Scope of practice is primarily medical management of all types of chronic non-cancer pain. Works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary pain team to deliver comprehensive pain assessments and treatments, provide consultations to primary care providers regarding pain management, and provide medical assessment and treatment for patients with chronic non-cancer pain.We work closely with PM&R, occupational medicine, neurosurgery, neurology, orthopedic surgery, anesthesia, interventional radiology, nonsurgical orthopedics, and primary care in a truly integrated neuro-musculoskeletal care system.No call; No weekend or holiday work.May provide clinical outreach to regional clinics.REQUIREMENTSBC/BE in PM&R, Anesthesiology, Neurology, or Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with extensive pain management experience.A minimum of two years of experience in the interdisciplinary management of chronic pain, or fellowship training in pain management.LOCATION240 miles north-west of Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area.Regional service area includes 25 clinics and 6 hospitals.
