Beginning in Texas and Florida, ONX plans to bring its unique model to major growth across the US in the next several years.What You Will Be DoingThe VP of HR is responsible for the overall human resource function for employees nationwide. The VP is responsible for setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices, and identifying and implementing long-range strategic talent management goals.Essential Job Functions:Strategic and FunctionalBuilds, leads, and mentors the HR team in a shared service.Partner with business to understand the business strategy and priorities and translate these into a Human Capital Plan with measurable KPIs.Cultivate high trust working relationships with leaders and employees.Translate company goals into functional department and individual career goals and provide support and guidance to employees. Lead department talent reviews and succession planning efforts.Drive a values-driven, high-performing culture by creating and implementing strategies to recruit, develop and retain the best innovative talent in the business.Serve as a primary point of contact for critical escalations from employees.Proactively advise and coach stakeholders on ways to effectively resolve employee relations and performance management concerns in alignment with company policy and legal requirements.Provide value-added input into the design of HR initiatives and ensure efficient execution considering operational nuances of each region.Partner with the HR team on the proposal, design, and oversight of HR processes.Own employee engagement and culture initiatives that ensure organizational health.Develop and drive the implementation of critical cross-functional projects as needed to enhance the overall HR function.Design and deliver a roadmap that will result in automation, standardization, and centralization of HR processes and systems where needed.Lead by example and promote a positive, team-oriented culture that reinforces company values.Facilitate change management strategies and plans to assist leadership with organizational change.Recruit quality talent across the organization that aligns with goals and objectives.Oversee all benefit and payroll administration.Leadership and Talent DevelopmentInspire, motivate, and capture team commitment and help team members create a pathway to both individual and our collective long-term success and growth.Develop a strong discipline of role clarity and hold self and team members accountable for performance and collaboration with the whole enterprise establishing and maintaining an inclusive and diverse culture that provides a positive team member experience and ensures proactive performance management based on feedback, coaching and mentoring.Advocate for appropriate academic, technical and leadership training and development opportunities for all team members.Recruit and develop teams with an appropriate mix of experience, capabilities, and skills to consistently meet company goals and departmental initiatives in the most cost-effective manner.Ensure effective succession planning for all pivotal positions.Ensure that feedback structures are in place so that employees can receive and provide feedback on job effectiveness and satisfaction.Continually refine and improve annual performance management process.Monitor employee satisfaction and effectiveness through formal processes (e.g. annual survey) and less structured programs.Research, develop, and implement competitive compensation, benefits and employee incentive programs.Ensure compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements.Maintain knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management.Provide guidance and leadership to the human resource management team; assists with resolution of human resource, compensation, and benefits questions, concerns, and issues.Evaluate the HR Information System (HRIS) and processes to ensure that employee information is accurate, reportable, and reliable; ensure data is collected in a way that provides insightful analysis that will support critical organizational solution building.Provide employment key performance indicators for quarterly board meetings.Provide strategic direction to the India-based HR Manager to ensure consistency in company positioning, culture, and values across global footprint.Manage interaction with key HR vendors.Ensure the company is following federal, state, and local legal requirements.Required QualificationsBachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, business, or other related field.12+ years of growth-oriented HR experience in a dynamic, fast-paced, rapidly growing, startup and global environment.5+ Manufacturing or construction experience preferred.Experience with MS Office Suite & Workday HRIS (Human Resource Information System) systems required.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Ability to quickly build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with colleagues, clients, and team members across the US as well as globally (Indian, and Dubai).Ability to thrive in a global, fast-paced, and ambiguous environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.Strong business acumen and broad-based HR experience with ability to partner and collaborate with colleagues, functional specialists, and senior level internal clients across all entities.Extensive organizational design/re-design, change management, talent development and operational experience.Highly skilled in employee relations, employee development and performance management.Able to interpret people requirements and facilitate broad scale proactive solutions.Experience leading large scale, cross-functional projects and collaborating successfully with global teams to deliver impactful work and timely results.Deep functional/technical knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements. Working knowledge of global employment laws and immigration processes, a plus.Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, establish trust and credibility and act with complete integrity; Aptitude and proven ability to resolve conflicts creatively and collaboratively.Strong influencing, negotiation, and facilitation skills with the ability to cultivate productive, collaborative relationships with peers and senior leadership.Physical Requirements:
