Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) projects to ensure that goals or objectives are accomplished in accordance with prescribed priorities, time limitation, and funding conditions. Infrastructure Project Managers ensure effective and efficient management of the project consistent with an established project management cycle and compliance with department guidelines, procedures, and systems; and related work as required.

The Infrastructure Project Manager II is the professional journey-level class in the series, assigned to provide direction on relatively large construction or technical implementation projects with mid-range budgets, requiring experience and skill to deal with sensitive issues/objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

EITHERA Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.A Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Public Administration, Business Administration, Political Science, Public Health, or a related field.ANDFour (4) years of related professional experience in project management, including developing and tracking known performance indicators (KPIs), managing contracts and vendors, developing budgets, tracking financial and regulatory compliance, executing queries, analyzing large datasets, producing reports for top-level executives, developing implementation models and risk assessments, convening and engaging stakeholders, and/or conducting deep quantitative research and analysis.ORPossession of a current Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) issued by the Project Management Institute.One (1) year of related professional experience in project management, including developing and tracking known performance indicators (KPIs), managing contracts and vendors, developing budgets, tracking financial and regulatory compliance, executing queries, analyzing large datasets, producing reports for top-level executives, developing implementation models and risk assessments, convening and engaging stakeholders, and/or conducting deep quantitative research and analysis.Note:

We are seeking individuals with project management experience. Experience as a project coordinator will not be accepted.
