Building Automation Design Engineer

My client is a Fortune 100 employer who is involved in smart infrastructure, building automation, and energy management. They are actively seeking a Building Automation Design Engineer who can get involved in Commissioning and some light programming. The position allows for hybrid work from any office in the Mid-Atlantic region.Responsibilities:Responsible for hardware/software design and estimating activities for building automation systems.Applies engineering principles and practices for work on assigned projects.Designs and procures cost-effective control solutions to meet project requirements.Works directly on the project team to perform project commissioning and startup.Responsible for designing, programming, and estimating activities utilizing direct digital controls and automation systems for comfort control and energy savings.Responsible for the sequence of operations which meet the project requirements.Applies knowledge of engineering principles and practices.Possesses knowledge of air conditioning systems and controls.Validates the engineered bill of material costs.Responsible for vendor purchase orders under Project Manager’s direction.Responsible for reviewing contract documents and conducting job surveys.Reviews equipment submittals for incorporation into design.Responsible for creating installation drawings, submittal drawings, as-built drawings, and final validation of system operation.Prepares cost estimates for projects.Provides engineering direction and support to other team members.Develops control programming and graphics for control systems.Assists project team as required with programming, electrical terminations, commissioning, graphic development, test, and startup.Provides customer training.Manages multiple projects.For immediate response, send a resume to
