Senior Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a highly experienced Senior Litigation Associate Attorney with over 7 years of practice in insurance defense and personal injury law. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigating cases involving insurance defense, particularly in the realm of personal injury claims, with a focus on high-exposure incidents such as fatalities, explosions, slip and fall accidents, and drowning.Duties:Represent clients facing complex legal challenges in insurance defense and personal injury litigation.Provide comprehensive legal counsel and defense strategies to individuals, businesses, and insurance companies.Conduct thorough investigations into each case, analyzing evidence and developing effective defense strategies.Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses for state court litigation proceedings.Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant case law and statutes in insurance defense and personal injury matters.Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations as required.Collaborate with partners on case strategy and client communication.Prepare for and participate in trial proceedings as necessary.Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.Stay updated with changes in insurance law, personal injury statutes, and precedents.Requirements:Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.7+ years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense and personal injury.Litigation experience in Texas state courts, focusing on insurance defense and personal injury matters.Proficiency in drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses.Legal research and analysis skills specific to insurance defense and personal injury law.Trial preparation and courtroom experience.Case management and organizational abilities.Certifications:Valid license to practice law in Texas.Company Info:BCG Attorney Search10777 Westheimer, Suite 1100Houston, Texas, United States 77042Phone:
