Commercial Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Morristown is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney with 2+ years of experience in handling commercial litigation pending in state and federal courts. The ideal candidate must possess strong writing skills and be admitted to the New Jersey Bar, with New York Bar admission considered a plus.Duties:Manage commercial litigation cases from inception to resolution.Conduct legal research and analysis on complex commercial issues.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Prepare for and represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and stakeholders.Conduct discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.Develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients.Stay updated on developments in commercial law and legal precedents.Requirements:2+ years of experience in commercial litigation.Admission to the New Jersey Bar.Admission to the New York Bar (preferred).Strong writing skills with attention to detail.Experience handling cases in state and federal courts.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Commitment to professionalism and ethical practice.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the New Jersey Bar.Admission to the New York Bar (preferred).Skills:Legal research and analysis.Drafting legal documents and pleadings.Courtroom advocacy and litigation skills.Case management and organization.Client communication and relationship management.Negotiation and dispute resolution.Time management and prioritization.
