Summary:

We are seeking a creative and motivated Part-Time Social Media Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and executing social media strategies to enhance our brand presence, engage with our community, and drive traffic to our digital platforms. Additionally, the coordinator will write and schedule newsletters to keep our audience informed and engaged. This role requires a strong understanding of social media trends, excellent communications skills, and a passion for creating compelling content.

Hours:

Must be able to work in office 25 hrs per week / or on campus

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Curation:

Develop, design, and schedule engaging content (videos, images, text) across various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).

Social Media Strategy:

Assist in creating and implementing social media campaigns aligned with marketing goals and company objectives.

Community Engagement:

Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on social media channels to foster positive relationships with followers

Analytics & Reporting:

Track social media performance using analytics tools, providing reports on metrics like engagement, reach, and growth.

Trend Monitoring:

Stay up to date with social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure our strategies remain current and effective.

Newsletter Writing & Scheduling:

Write, design, and schedule newsletters to be sent to our subscriber list, ensuring consistent messaging and branding. Collaborate with the team to gather relevant content and updates for each edition.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the Experience team to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms and to support other marketing initiatives as needed.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Education:

Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of experience managing social media accounts for a brand, company, or organization.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS :

Strong knowledge of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, MailChimp, etc.)Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlinesBasic understanding of social media analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.)Additional Information:
