Job Overview
The Communications Manager supports the Director of Coca-Cola Consolidated Internal Communications with the development and execution of internal communication strategies for the Commercial Marketing and Corporate Services divisions.
This role includes management of the department's daily operations of the Company's employee communication platform (One Team), Red Central (Microsoft SharePoint Online), and ScreenCloud digital screens, be effectively able to train and onboard new users, and build and support an internal community of publishers.
The Communications Manager is vital to the planning and execution of the internal communications strategy at Consolidated with a high and consistent level of integrity, reliability, and productivity. The role is driven to pursue excellence in supporting the above mentioned business partners and teammates. The role supports the overall communications strategy, planning and execution as well as copywriting and copyediting. Provide support to executive leadership through serving as a communications advisor.
Duties & Responsibilities
Plans, manages, and executes the strategy for five organizations and serve as communications advisorPlans, manages and executive the communication plans for enterprise-wide communication projectsManages budget for incentive and recognition.Publishes their own content on the Company's digital communications platform.Monitors Teammate communication engagement for their respective organizations and informs partners.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Experience with mass communications or journalism.Strong copywriting, spelling, grammar, and copy-editing skills.Strong project management skillsAbility to manage their own workload while managing multiple priorities and projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Ability to balance a strategic view with day-to-day, hands-on deliverables.Competent with using digital communication tools and softwareAbility to use Canva, Adobe Premium and other graphic and video creation and editing software5-7 years of experience in communications, marketing, public relations, executive communicationsMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 5 to 7 years of relevant experienceProject management experienceCopywriting and editing experienceAbility to self-manage workloadExperience with Canva/Premium/Adobe and other graphic and video toolsPreferred Qualifications
Degree focus of Mass Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Executive CommunicationsPrevious experience managing enterprise-wide campaigns
