Job Description :
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our dynamic development and support team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting, enhancing, and maintaining a statewide eligibility determination system. Your work will involve using the latest technologies to interface with other systems, integrate with different platforms, and automate current processes.
Responsibilities :Design, develop, and maintain Windows, Web, and Client/Server applications using Microsoft technologies.Provide subject matter expertise on system architectures, especially in the context of large-scale enterprise systems.Lead the analysis, design, and programming of complex development projects.Enhance system functionality and processes by recommending and implementing improvements.Develop and update documentation for procedures, policies, and processes.Train end users on software and provide ongoing support.Interpret, design, and implement federal and state mandates within Linux systems similar to the Mississippi statewide eligibility determination system (MAVS).Required Skills:• 10+ years of experience in .NET programming, with a strong background in Microsoft technologies.• 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale enterprise systems.• 5+ years of experience with automated eligibility determination systems.• 5+ years of experience providing system architecture expertise.• 5+ years of experience in developing, maintaining, and updating documentation for procedures, policies, and processes.• 5+ years of experience with SNAP and TANF eligibility policies and procedures, along with knowledge of state and federal mandates.• 5+ years of experience in interpreting, designing, and implementing federal and state mandates within Linux systems.
Nice to Have:• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate in English.• Proficiency in time management, presentation, and facilitation.• Ability to work independently while contributing to team projects and solving technical problems.• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions.• Experience with SCRUM/Iteration methodologies and Jira Software.• Experience in converting outdated technologies to new cutting-edge technologies.• Familiarity with operating systems such as Linux and Windows.• Advanced skills in ASP.NET MVC, C#, .NET, web services (SOAP, REST, WSDL, UDDI), Entity Framework, ADO.NET, and LINQ.• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).• Proficiency in Agile methodology and SDLC processes.
