IT Security Auditor
foran immediate contract engagement with our government client.
Work Location: This position is hybrid.
Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced professional focused on auditing secure platforms and applications through various assessment methods. This role is aimed at those passionate about secure coding and working alongside software development teams, rather than operating within a traditional Security Operations Center. The successful candidate will collaborate with developers across various technologies (front-end, back-end, cloud) to promote security throughout the software lifecycle. This role will help integrate security practices into development processes, with a focus on automation, continuous compliance, and risk reduction.
Responsibilities :• Collaborate with development teams on secure coding• Lead the integration of secure practices in system design and development• Utilize automation tools to ensure secure system configurations• Drive initiatives to enhance secure development practices
Required Skills:Familiarity with browser development tools to monitor API interactionsExperience with security scanning tools (dynamic/static analysis, container/cloud security)Knowledge of vulnerability risks such as XSS, injection flaws, and security issues in APIsUnderstanding of containers and cloud development (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)Familiarity with secure development frameworks and industry standardsBackground in cloud security and secure coding best practicesHands-on experience with web/mobile application security and automationQualifications:
5+ years in IT, with a focus on security best practices3+ years applying industry security guidelines and standards (e.g., OWASP, SANS, CSA)Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworksExperience in DevSecOps and security automationA background in deploying secure distributed systemsAvailable Benefits:
