Job Summary

The Sales Supervisor within our Abrasives – Automotive Aftermarket team will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic growth plan for their respective territory.The individual will be held accountable for performing critical tasks that are customary components of sales administration. These tasks include but aren’t limited to:Time and territory managementActivity tracking through the use of a CRM toolEstablishing growth through conversion of competitive market share & managing manufacturer reps, while also establishing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.This position is a key growth position and a great opportunity to learn all aspects of our business. The incumbent will travel a large, assigned geographical territory in support of our selling efforts. Time will be spent demonstrating and facilitating training on the proper application and use of all products in Saint-Gobain’s product portfolio.Required Qualifications

Interested candidates should have a proven sales record managing medium and large accounts with a strong technical aptitude, excellent organizational skills, and an interest in automotive refinishing.The position requires a BS/BA degree and/or a minimum of 1-3 years of progressive technical sales experience in automotive refinishing applications. The desired applicant should be a self-starting, highly motivated individual who works well in a team environment and with minimal supervision.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, web applications, contact management, and other forms of data analysis is necessary, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to deliver engaging presentations.Key markets include Baltimore MD, DC, VA, DE, South NJ.

Interested candidates should reside in/near these areas to effectively cover the territory.Local travel is required with some overnight travel as deemed necessary.Company Summary
