Job Description - Adjunct, Social Sciences (ADJ000852)Position OverviewThe Department of Social Sciences at the University of Houston-Downtown seeks qualified adjunct instructors to teach in the following disciplines: Anthropology, Health and Behavioral Sciences, Political Science, Psychology, Social Science, and Sociology.ResponsibilitiesPlan and create course syllabi.Lecture and provide quality instruction and guidance.Follow established institutional guidelines.Evaluate student performance.Maintain a positive educational environment in the classroom.QualificationsCandidates must hold a Master's degree with at least 18 hours of graduate course work in the particular discipline.Application ProcessTo be considered a candidate for this position, please complete an online application.
