Head Start / Early Head Start

Greetings Dear Candidate,GCCSA centers are on the Southeast side of Houston (Hobby/Pasadena) areas.Please apply if you meet the following minimum requirements:Required - Minimum of 6 months teaching Preschool/Head Start children ages birth to 5 years of age. (GCCSA locations are NOT Daycares)Required - Experience teaching in a classroom with 16 to 25 preschool-aged students (Birth to 5 years of age), some with learning disabilities.Required documents per position:1. Teacher Aide - required high school diploma.2. Teacher Assistant - required high school diploma, required Child Development Associate Credential (CDA).3. Teacher II or III - required high school diploma, required degree in Education or related field, either associate or bachelor’s degree (examples: Education, Psychology, Kinesiology, Arts).Hours of operation: 7am to 4pmDays of operation: Monday to FridayGCCSA will follow HISD/PISD schedule.Must complete an application on the GCCSA portal to be considered as a teacher.
