Estate Planning Paralegal

A successful, outside-the-box, growing-rapidly law office serving families and businesses is looking for a friendly, sharp, and confident Client Facing Paralegal. This role involves working directly under the estate planning attorneys as well as the Associate/Director of Planning. This team member creates a relationship with the client that starts when they engage the firm and becomes the client’s main point of contact until the conclusion of representation. This is an in-office position. This is a long-term position with room for growth.Responsibilities:

Create and review spreadsheets and other documents to confirm design and instructions for the client’s needsConfirm details and address any questions with the clientUse professional software to assist in drafting various estate planning legal documents such as trusts, wills, codicils, ancillary documents, real estate deeds, affidavits and other assignments and acceptancesDesign and present estate plans, kids protection plans, and corporate black bookbinders to clientsFile corporate formations and entity maintenancePrepare EIN authorization, and SS4 Forms, and obtain EINsLead the signing ceremony meeting and notarize all documentsAssist clients in titling and naming of assetsManage various databases and software programsUphold a strong work ethic, good judgment, professional appearance, and a positive demeanorQualifications:

A Bachelor's degree is a plusAt least 5 years of experience in estate planning paralegal workDemonstrated competence in working with multiple databases (e.g. Clio, Monday.com, Wealth Counsel), as well as various portals and programsHigh-level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe applicationsAn aptitude for effective verbal and written communicationA driven work ethic and the capacity to exercise sound judgmentA responsible attitude and an appropriate demeanorCompensation:

$50,000 - $75,000 yearly
