San Francisco, CAJob Duties:Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.Update software or enhance existing software capabilities.Develop infrastructure, automation, and tooling for the engineering and data science teams.Guide the direction of platform infrastructure to help scale software.Contribute to projects working towards evaluating cloud providers and building automation, scaling real-time recommendations data storage, improving the code deployment process, and solving problems relating to the management of growing cloud infrastructure.Help develop the cloud infrastructure while maintaining the security, stability, and speed without sacrificing the features and products.Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.Minimum Requirements:Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in the field of software engineering or one (1) year of experience in the job offered.A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering (any field)).Special Skill Requirements:AutoscalingLinuxJenkinsPythonKafkaScalaJavaSparkBig DataAny suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable.
