This includes developing interfaces for advanced sensors, designing the data and control flow, creating algorithms for the optimal material engineering on an atomic scale and the real-time control of devices such as robots, motors, generators, pumps, and flow controllers. Other aspects of our work include the design of the user interface, data collection, storage and analysis, machine learning and analytics, remote access, and security.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, prototype, and develop complex software solutions for semiconductor equipment components and devicesDesign common software modules and libraries for use across multiple productsTroubleshoot a variety of moderately difficult software problems and design and implement bug fixesSuggest and implement improvements to the development and troubleshooting processDefine software specificationsDevelop software documentationContribute to technical review boards for assigned programsInterface with internal and external customers for requirement analysis, project schedule and software troubleshootingTechnical SkillsProficiency and experience in C and C++ requiredProgramming experience in several of the following areas desired:Real-time ControlMotion ControlEmbedded ProgrammingI/O (synchronous and asynchronous)Multi-threading, performance profilingC#, .NETgRPC, REST, TCP socketsVisual StudioSource ControlMatlabLeadership, Communication and Problem-Solving SkillsCombines technical skills with effective relationship building and collaboration skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to analyze complex information and explain in a straightforward mannerAbility to solve problems in moderately difficult situations and drive solutions using technical experience and judgmentFlexible and adaptable mindset which thrives in a results-driven cultureEducationMaster’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field or a Bachelor’s degree with 3 or more years of professional experienceTravel:

$104,000.00 - $143,000.00The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location and level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
