Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack)

to join our team in Washington DC (hybrid) or a remote location.What you will do:In this role you will be focused on the design and implementation of Amida's software platforms, applications, and features in a full-stack capacity. You will proactively participate in every aspect of the software development lifecycle including design, implementation, test design, test implementation, optimization, and delivery utilizing the latest technologies.Required Skills:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical fieldExperience developing software applications in an Agile environment10+ years of experience in software engineering and development3+ years of back-end development experience including NodeJS2+ years of front-end development experience including React1+ years of front-end development experience including utilizing component and stylesheet libraries such as MaterialUI and Tailwind1+ years of development utilizing TypeScriptFamiliarity with Relational Databases and SQLExperience using Git/GitHubExperience in handling and transforming healthcare dataA firm grasp of RESTful API design and scalable web architectureExperience with continuous integration/build automation tools such as GitHub Actions Workflow, Jenkins, etc.Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and drive to deliver best-in-class software productsPreferred Skills:Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical fieldDeep understanding of frontend testing, including UI testing via frameworks such as Puppeteer or PlaywrightDeep understanding of test-driven/behavior-driven developmentExperience with container-based technologies such as Docker & KubernetesExperience at integrating with AWS or Azure cloud-based servicesCommunication is the key to success at Amida.
