Staff Software Engineer (ServiceNow) , your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Implementing ITIL practices in the various aspects of designing, developing, and implementing solutions via ServiceNow tool in coordination with ITSM process managers.Demonstrating strong capabilities in assessing business needs while providing creative and effective solutions in conformance to emerging technology standards.Estimating engineering effort, planning implementation, and roll out applications with cross-functional impacts.Interface with various stakeholders like TPMs, Infra, CloudOps, Infosec, Dev, system architects to build ITSM, HRSD, Discovery, SAM, HAM modules for assets residing in AWS.Limiting manual intervention and automating the upkeep of CMDB, SAM, HAM and build processes for continuous maintenance.Creating and adopting best practices to implement ServiceCatalog, mid-server, UI.Integrating ServiceNow with an API-led Integration (& others) Platform for tools residing in multiple areas like monitoring, Infosec, EUC, Corporate, access provisioning, tech operations etc.Developing and managing operational metrics reporting and dashboards on ServiceNow for availability of metrics at runtime.Interface and collaborate with other engineers in geographically distributed environment.Managing and interconnecting a mix of Tech Ops tools like Datadog, PagerDuty, ServiceNow, SumoLogic etc.Automate Certificate Management and Network firewall audits via ServiceNow.Auditing, maintaining, administering processes for various modules of ServiceNow.What You Will Need To Succeed

You must have a technical qualification such as B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.It is essential that you have minimum of 8 years of software development experience.It is essential that you have experience in creating and consuming RESTful and SOAP based web services.You must have experience with the development, customization, and administration of multiple components of ServiceNow - ITSM, HRSD, Discovery, SAM, HAM.It is essential that you have experience in JavaScript/Java/J2EE.It is essential that you have experience in markup languages like HTML and XML.It is essential that you have experience in stylesheet languages like CSS.You must have experience in working in cloud environment, particularly AWS.Nice To Have

It would be preferred if you are a Certified ServiceNow Developer.Good to have an ITIL Foundations Certification.Ability to work on a mix of technologies and TechOps tools.Demonstrated capabilities in assessing business needs while providing creative and effective solutions in conformance to emerging technology standards.Team player with strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.Ability to work in a fast paced, iterative development environment and adapt to changing business priorities and to thrive under pressure.Proven ability to understand the business and ability to contribute to technology direction that drives measurable business improvements.Hands-on experience in building high performance and large-scale real-time systems that scale to billions of transactions per day.Convera serves a broad range of customers ranging from small business owners to enterprise treasurers to educational and financial institutions.
