This individual will be responsible for leading multiple software development teams and projects, responsible for all aspects of the application including development and production support.Responsibilities Include

Oversees all aspects of assigned projects and the software application development life cycle.Develop and manage all aspects of project and project engagement from planning, communications, resources, change, risks, and issues.Collaborates with and motivates team members to meet project goals, delegating tasks and adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.Identify and develop trusted adviser relationships with project and program stakeholders.Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus, and achieve objectives.Set and continually manage project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverables with team members and stakeholders. Manage project scope and changes.Prepares project schedules, establishes deadlines, assigns tasks and responsibilities, allocates resources, and monitors and summarizes the progress of projects in an iterative methodology environment.Prepares project management plans and documentation as appropriate.Prepare estimates and detailed project/sprint plans.Monitor staff performance, complete performance reviews, and support team development.Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project and program teams.Serve as a team scrum master.Ensures all project activities are coordinated with TSA stakeholders through completion.What You Will Need

US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public TrustBachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience7+ years of experience including 3+ years of experience in the agile/IT field or related area.Experience managing multiple software development projects for the Federal Government.User story development (Requirements Elicitation, Syntax, DoD, AC)Azure Boards or JIRASolid understanding of Agile methodologies & frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban). Experience with Agile software projects is a must.Extensive understanding of project and program management principles, methods, and techniques.Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.What Would Be Nice To Have

Project Management Institute’s (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) CertificationCertified Scrum Master from Scrum AllianceExperience working directly with DHS and/or TSA.The annual salary range for this position is $100,200.00-$150,200.00.
