Organizational Change Management ConsultantPosition Description

CGI Federal has an immediate need for a Business Consultant who can implement organizational change management strategies for global financial operations. Founded in 1976, CGI is among the largest IT and business consulting services firms in the world, operating across 21 industries in 400 locations worldwide.As a member of CGI Federal's Business Consulting practice, you will work with some of the industry's most experienced consultants to plan, mobilize, and deliver organizational change management (OCM), strategic communications, and end-user training in support of a large U.S. Federal client.In a highly collaborative team environment, your work will directly support senior government officials on Department-wide business transformation and modernization efforts for an organization of approximately 10,000 stakeholders and end-users. This is an exciting full-time opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a team of passionate technologists. We take an innovative approach to supporting our client, working side-by-side in an agile environment using emerging technologies. As a solution builder, you will be working to support the client's mission and goals of transforming and modernizing their operations.This position is located in our USA VA Fairfax USAVAFAI01 office with work performed at client site in Washington, D.C.; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.Your future duties and responsibilities:

Manage Client Relationship(s). Work to become a trusted advisor to your client.Communicate Consistently. Ensure that your team, manager, and client are up to date on work products and roadblocks.Work Collaboratively. Actively contribute to the team and leverage the expertise of others to refine work products.Balance Priorities. Reliably evaluate requests and intended outcomes to balance the need for urgency (reaction) with the need for a calculated approach (response).Maintain Composure. Proactively manage ambiguity and changing requirements by focusing on client/customer needs and desired outcomes.Be Kind. Practice compassion and empathy with yourself, your team, and your client.Think Strategically. Present structured solutions built on leading practices in change management (e.g., Prosci's ADKAR model, Kotter's 8-Step model, La Marsh, etc.)Transform Data to Intelligence. Analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to create meaningful information for a wide range of stakeholders with different priorities.Convert Intelligence to Action. Effectively communicate specific action(s) and value proposition(s) for next steps based on analysis of quantitative and qualitative information.Create and present polished products. Create well-composed, well-scripted, refined work products using Microsoft PowerPoint and Word to effectively communicate an organized story.Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Degree / certification in Business, HR, Psychology, or related field.Strong foundation of consulting skills: adaptability, assertiveness, client relationship management, cross-functional collaboration, goal setting, task management, time management, public speaking, etc.Strong foundation of professional skills: communication (verbal and written), critical thinking, decision making, emotional intelligence, organization, problem-solving, teamwork, etc.Experience editing documents across multiple formats and creating polished materials.Due to the nature of this government contract, ship is required.CGI's Benefits Include:
