The Ryan White Center for Pediatric Infectious Diseases & Global Health at Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health is seeking a
Pediatric Infectious Disease physician . This is an exciting time to join a team of providers and leaders who are committed to clinical and academic excellence.As a major referral facility, we are responsible for the evaluation and care for nearly 1,000 children annually. Clinical specialists focus on prevention, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing care including (but not limited to) meningitis, pneumonia, Kawasaki, fevers, Osteomyelitis, HIV, infections in immunocompromised hosts, HSV, Lyme disease, histoplasmosis, tuberculosis, etc. Our physician teams have a strong culture of collaboration with other pediatric specialty and surgical divisions. Recent significant growth includes increased outpatient clinic footprint, and additional inpatient services for primary infectious disease, general consults, and immunocompromised consults.Position HighlightsFull-time, located in Indianapolis, IndianaApproximately 80% clinical, 20% academic including protected time for Associate Medical Director of Antimicrobial StewardshipMonday-Friday schedule with shared night and weekend callFaculty appointment (Assistant/Associate Professor) with the Indiana University School of MedicineResponsibilities include inpatient rounding, outpatient clinics, phone consults and educational supervision and instruction of fellows, residents and medical studentsCompetitive base compensation with productivity and quality bonus potentialComprehensive benefits package includes Group insurance (health, dental, life, disability), 403b with company match and other retirement options, PTO, Relocation assistance, Occurrence-based malpractice insurance coverage, CMEQualificationsBoard Eligible or Certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious DiseaseCompletion of training through ABMS residency and fellowshipIndiana licensure or ability to obtainContact
