Data Analyst III

Responsibilities:Create and standardize rules for data consumption from third party sources and payments partners in collaboration with data science, finance and central analytics teams.Create and maintain a data governance oversight body with internal stakeholders that ensures data integrity and quality for cost of payments.Review invoices from payment partners to ensure accuracy and report any discrepancies and overcharges. Collaborate with finance and partnerships team to recover erroneous fees.The role will lead the management and execution of several strategic data governance initiatives to ensure organizational alignment.Establish internal controls, alerting mechanisms and procedures for accurate reporting of cost of payments and related payment fields.Leverage experience in payments/financial services industry to design and implement best-in-class practices for payments/cost of payments data reporting and management.Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in defining and maintaining consistent ‘Column/Field’ definitions where the external data is consumed into our DW tables.Be the main point of contact to assess impact on cost of payments data resulting from bi-annual card network mandate changes in April and October.Assess impact of such changes and work with the product platform, data science and analytics team to implement them.Develop programs, methodologies, and files for analyzing and presenting data.Use and support database applications and analytical tools.Evaluate data quality, applications, and functions.Produce output and maintain operation.Research new data sources and analytical tools.Contribute to new product development and improvement in product delivery and presentation.Develop awareness of and familiarity with issues and events affecting organization, department, and/or customer.Use timely and appropriate participation of users/customers in data collection and query systems.Communicate regularly and effectively with team members and management, and communicate results effectively to management and/or customers.Deliver data products in report/presentation format, or verbally, to management and/or customer specifications and timelines.Point out system or process problems when noticed and engage the team in problem solving.Facilitate satisfactory communication and resolution of problems.Compensation:The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).Benefits and Ancillaries:Medical, dental, vision, PTO benefits and ancillaries may be available for eligible Aditi Consulting employees and vary based on the plan options selected by the employee.
