Regional Accounting Director, LATAMA little bit about our team:

The Finance Department at WM Latina is responsible for supporting the accuracy and completeness of financial statements and monitoring compliance with accounting policies and procedures. In addition, the finance department is responsible for ensuring that internal control policies are adequate and implemented. The department is a partner to all other departments with regards to making strategic decisions that benefit the company.Your role:

The Regional Finance Director is responsible for supporting the financial reporting of the Latam Region’s operations, including monthly actual results, monthly forecasts, annual budget, and cash forecasting. In addition, this position will work as a partner with the affiliates’ Finance Directors in the analysis, discussion and implementation of various initiatives and projects. This position reports to the Regional CFO.Here you’ll get to:

Support the financial reporting of the LATAM region’s operations, including monthly actual results, monthly forecasts, annual budget and cash forecasting.Work as a partner with the affiliates’ Finance Directors in the analysis, discussion and implementation of various initiatives and projects.Support LATAM region’s finance team with financial reporting requirements including monthly actual results, monthly forecasts and annual budget including submissions, deliverables and review meetings.Analyze annual budget and monthly forecasts prepared by the affiliates prior to submission and update regional budget/forecasts template to send to affiliates for completion.Participate in forecast, budget and strategic planning meetings and follow up on resulting deliverables and action items.Consolidate budget/forecast package and provide to Regional senior management with insight into variances vs prior forecast and periods, revenue growth and composition, artist profitability, A&R investment and other areas prior to submission.Participate in regional presentations for budget and forecasts to senior management.Perform a review of monthly actual results (P&L) and discuss with business unit CFO’s and finance teams to understand variances from expectations (forecast/budget) and summarize results and provide to senior management.Prepare market analysis for Latin America including industry genre trends and sales composition and provide to senior management monthly.Partner with affiliates to discuss financial impact of new signings and participate in approval process.Assist in accounting and reporting process of US Latin affiliate including monthly close process and financial package for actuals and forecasts.Partner with key strategic stakeholders to align the strategy and improve forecast accuracy.About you:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance or a related field7 years of experience in the position offered or related position.Must have 7+ years of experience with:Applying knowledge of GAAP and related financial reporting regulations and standards;Applying knowledge of finance and general accounting practices in Latin American territories including preparing monthly reports showing the holistic business Performance across the region along with forecastsParticipating and influencing the annual budgeting process with regional affiliatesWorking with financial reporting systems including SAP and HFMUnderstanding and keeping abreast of LATAM macroeconomic and general market dynamics that impact strategic financial planning and budgetingPreparing and consolidating regional business performance metrics utilizing corporate reporting tools including Oracle HFMWorking at a large multinational company managing regional finance/accounting relationships and influencing business performance with affiliates.About us:
