ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:The Political Advocacy and Government team at TelevisaUnivision is looking for a Sr. Account Executive to join our team! PAG is looking for an experienced Sr. Account Executive to be added to our East Coast team. This Sr. Account Executive will be responsible for the generation of political, advocacy and government advertising revenue across our television, radio, and digital platforms.

ABOUT YOU:This experienced media professional will work in collaboration with our agency partners, rep firms, and station management teams. The Sr. PAG Account Executive will position Univision in the marketplace as a leader in providing voter insights and deep coverage of Hispanic voters.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

Maintaining and growing existing accounts while simultaneously cultivating and growing new client relationships to drive multiplatform sales.

Managing business plans, pipelines, business reports, and revenue projections with attention to detail to achieve monthly and annual sales goals.

Accountable for accuracy and all aspects of clients’ strategy and campaign execution including overseeing the pitch, orders, commercial traffic instructions, custom partnerships, digital proof of performance, recaps, invoices, collections, etc. in accordance with company guidelines.

Working closely and collaborating with all station management and departments to ensure PAG is best represented internally and externally.

YOU HAVE:

Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field (or High School Diploma / GED and 9 years of comparable experience).

Minimum of 5 years media sales experience with a proven history of meeting and exceeding sales goals and driving YOY growth with a demonstrated track record in closing new business.

Deep understanding of the political and advocacy marketplace with a focus on television, radio, and digital platforms.

Excellent networking ability and strong list of East Coast contacts and relationships with leading political agencies, consultants, and partisan stakeholders.

Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to translate ideas into clear, high-impact communications when presenting in front of a client.

Experience closing medium to large size deals: $50K and above.

Desired Skills & Experience:

Dynamic personality with the ability to work well with others in a team environment.

Good interpersonal and organizational skills as well as the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Drive and passion to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.

Fluency in Spanish (read and write) is a plus, but not required.

Demonstrated experience in digital advertising and the ability to work and sell in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Eligibility Requirements:

Must be located on the East Coast.

Employment/education will be verified.

Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

Time flexibility required to interact with people in different geographical locations, and work extended hours, sometimes on short notice due to the political nature of business.

Ability to travel nationwide to attend client meetings, conferences, seminars, and industry events.
