Litigation Attorney 5 Years Experience

Attorney with 5+ years of Civil Litigation ExperienceHiggins, Hopkins, McLain & Roswell, LLC has a full-time attorney position available now. 5+ years of civil litigation experience is required. Construction defect experience is preferred, but not required. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and take the lead on construction defect and/or general liability cases. Must be licensed in Colorado. Compensation: $115,000+ yearly, depending on experience. Discretionary year-end bonus and billing-based production bonuses available.Responsibilities:

Litigate construction defect and/or general liability cases from start to finish, with mentorship and training as needed.Communicate with clients and their insurers.Draft motions, conduct legal research, attend court appearances and settlement conferences, take depositions, and handle trials, as experience allows.Supervise and mentor younger associates.Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited law school with a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and licensed to practice law in Colorado.Prior experience working in a civil litigation law firm, 5 years minimum.Experience in construction defect or general casualty law preferred but not required.Well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw).Comfortable working as part of a team, and independently when appropriate.Excellent communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills required.Compensation:

$115,000+ yearly DOE
