We are looking for someone with 5+ years of civil litigation experience. Construction defect experience is preferred, but not required. We are looking for someone who can take the lead on construction defect and/or general liability cases. Training and mentorship are provided. Litigate construction defect and/or general liability cases from start to finishCommunicate with clients and their insurers. Draft motions, conduct legal research, attend court appearances and settlement conferences, take depositions, and handle trials, as experience allowsSupervise and mentor younger associatesQualifications

Graduation from an accredited law school with a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and licensed to practice law in ColoradoPrior experience working in a civil litigation law firm, 5 years minimumExperience in construction defect or general casualty law preferredWell-versed in legal research software (Westlaw)Comfortable working as part of a team, and independently when appropriateExcellent communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills requiredAbout Higgins Hopkins McLain & Roswell, LLCFounded in 2001, Higgins, Hopkins, McLain & Roswell, LLC is highly regarded for its expertise in construction law and the litigation of construction-related matters, including the defense of large and complex construction defect matters.
