is seeking a highly ambitious, adaptable, structured, and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our vibrant team at Bethesda, MD.

Responsibilities

Be responsible for the full recruiting life cycle for all open positions both internally and externallyIdentify highly qualified candidates to fill technical positionsAssist to recruit for scientific positions as neededWork with Program Managers to devise a recruiting plan and create a detailed position descriptionCreatively source active and passive, high-quality talent; develop creative sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill positions, including direct sourcing and internet recruitment, leveraging industry networks; continue to build a talent pipelineNegotiate and close talent with offers and startsDocument and report in Axle’s applicant tracking systemBecome a credible and trusted talent advisor to hiring managersScreening and vetting of candidates telephonicallyCreate strong relationships within the scientific community within and outside NIHAssist in responding to proposals by identifying the right profiles and building a pipeline of vetted resourcesQualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and at least two years of technical or scientific recruiting experience or government contracting recruiting experienceFamiliarity with NIH; work experience at NIH is strongly preferredTeam player who is driven to exceed goalsStrong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and writtenAbility to fully recruit once a job description is received with minimal supervision and directionThe diversity of Axle’s employees is a tremendous asset.
