Manager, Revenue AccountingDevelop collaborative, responsive relationships with Sales, Commercial Operations, Legal and IT and be a primary point of contact to navigate revenue related Finance mattersReview quotes to ensure proper system setup to enable appropriate revenue treatment in accordance with ASC 606Review and summarize customer arrangements with non-standard terms for proper revenue recognition in accordance with company policy and revenue recognition accounting standardsDevelop an extensive understanding of Axon products and bundlesResearch technical accounting issues for complex transactions or arrangements in accordance with ASC 606 and draft memos on key findingsHelp coordinate new product and pricebook setups to ensure proper revenue recognition patternsBring a fresh viewpoint to help identify ways to improve the processes and efficiency as we move through a phase of rapid growth and technology changeAssist with special projects as assignedWork closely with Revenue Accounting Operations to ensure timely revenue closeOther duties that may ariseWhat You BringBachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or FinanceCertified Public Accountant (CPA) designation, or ability to qualify, preferredAt least 3 years of accounting and analysis experience, revenue (ASC 606) experience a plusRecent public accounting experience or revenue accounting experience with a publicly-traded company highly desirableKnowledge of accounting for Multiple-Element ArrangementsExcellent analytical, oral and written communication skills are required for frequent interaction with financial and non-financial managementStrong technical accounting skillsSuperb attention to detail, strong planning and organization skills, and the ability to multi-task, prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentSelf-starter with an entrepreneurial spiritExperience with Salesforce is a plusAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsAbility to work autonomously as well as in a team settingConcern for quality and deadlinesBenefits That Benefit YouCompetitive salary and 401K with employer matchDiscretionary paid time offA supportive parental leave policyAn award-winning office/working environmentRide along with real police officers in real life situations, see them use technology, get inspiredBe a part of a company that is making a difference in the worldAnd more...Benefits listed herein may vary depending on the nature of your employment and the location where you work.The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 80,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 140,000 in the highest geographic market. The on target earnings range for this role is between USD 90,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 180,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
