Job Details

As the Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney, you will be working with the Partner (great opportunity for mentorship) and two Paralegals to provide legal advice and services to home and land developers, handling commercial contracts, drafting contracts, dealing with title matters, and managing transactional issues. This role involves a significant amount of land acquisition and residential real estate work, making it an exciting opportunity for those passionate about the real estate industry.

Responsibilities

Provide legal counsel and support to home and land developers on all aspects of commercial real estate, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financing.

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and other legal documents related to real estate transactions.

Handle all title matters, including reviewing title commitments, curing title defects, and coordinating with title companies.

Manage and oversee all aspects of transactional issues, including due diligence, negotiation, drafting of contracts, and closing.

Advise clients on legal matters related to land acquisition and residential real estate.

Conduct legal research and analysis on various real estate legal issues.

Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.

Qualifications

Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Commercial Real Estate Attorney.

Experience working with home and land developers a plus.

Proficiency in drafting and reviewing contracts.

Knowledge and experience in handling title matters.

Experience in dealing with transactional issues related to land acquisition and residential real estate.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Must be a member in good standing with the state bar.
