The time is now! KOMAN has a growth opportunity for a seasoned Project Manager.The great news is that we are growing! We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Project Manager to join our team. In this role, the PM will perform all general project management duties supporting our JBAB projects in Washington DC.What does the position do?

A Typical Day Will Consist Of The Following:

Leading the company Quality Control (QC) Program for designated area.Leading our team to understand private client and/or government documentation requirements.Manage subcontractors and coordinate subcontractor work to ensure the project schedule is met.Understand construction sequencing and conceptually build the project in its entirety.Leading and guiding their team through all safety protocols.Ensures all work is installed per the work plan document and that quality is met by utilizing the QCP.Performing timely inspections and using the deficiency log to have a 0-punch list project.Identifying and resolving problems and conflicts early by utilizing specific controls established in the QCP.Effectively conduct Owners meetings to ensure there is a complete understanding of the project and any current issues or outstanding questions.Preparing budgets and understanding the “Blue folder” process.Writing and executing subcontracts and the scope of work, scope and price construction change orders while managing schedules, closeouts, and job costs.Managing the QC and Safety program.Developing monthly progress reports to the customer and Monthly Risk Reports.Managing the submittal process.What will top candidates bring to the table?

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Construction Project Management.1-2 years experience with federal government contracting.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering is preferred.CQM Certification, OSHA 30, First Aid / CPR / AED preferred.We expect our Managers to have a natural desire to coach and mentor their teams.Strong technical skills and computer skills are necessary to be successful in this role.KOMAN is an Equal Opportunity Employer: Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories.As a Federal Contract Employer, KOMAN Families of Companies follows Federal Laws as it pertains to drug testing.
