Come build the first distributed utility with us, propelling the biggest energy transformation of our lifetime.The RoleAs Moxion Power’s first Maintenance Manager, you’ll assist in all aspects of manufacturing maintenance to ensure production is optimized. You’ll also be responsible for the safe and on-time launch of new equipment to support manufacturing.What you'll do:Direct leadership of 3 maintenance shifts and staffing to support production ramp.Responsible for day-to-day manpower and resource planning to support production and in-house repair.Define daily standard work for the team and provide guidance for prioritization.Develop standard maintenance processes and procedures; set up spare parts, preventative maintenance, and work order processes.Assist in setting maintenance annual budgets (labor, spare parts, consumables, and overtime).Ensure all spare parts are ordered in time according to needs and lead time.Work closely with all functions to ensure critical maintenance issues and projects are completed timely.Act with urgency and provide focused guidance during line down and machine quality events.Implement processes to move maintenance towards proactive or predictive maintenance.Provide proper training (LOTO, 5-S, PPE, etc.) and lead by example.Develop and manage repairs/troubleshooting processes.Manage a variety of engineering disciplines for maintaining production standards.Optimize headcount, spares, and minimize outsourced maintenance and equipment labor.Manage large workload with a positive attitude and proactively help co-workers.Lead in the interviewing, hiring, training, and decision-making processes for all new hires in the Engineering and Maintenance Department.Partner with all departments to build a unified approach to maintenance goals.Participate in early phase equipment/production line specification, design, qualification, installation, and site acceptance testing.Skills to be successful:5+ years of extensive experience with troubleshooting industrial equipment maintenance.Experience in team building, coaching, and succession planning.Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment on a journeyman level.Lean manufacturing skills and systems development.Project management experience.Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.Skills in equipment operation availability, system development, breakdown management, and PM/TPM development.You might also have:PLC Control logic experience.3+ years of project management or team leadership.Schedule:7am start time10 hr shiftsPay EquityMoxion is committed to pay equity – paying employees equitably for similar work.
