We are seeking an experienced

Director of Sales

who will play a pivotal role leading and directing sales efforts in the East to maximize revenue and operational excellence while achieving assigned growth targets.

Partially RemoteMajor Accountabilities:Collaborate with Vice President of Sales to create and implement a U.S. launch and market development sales strategyLeverage analytics to accurately forecast and implement operational plans to hit/exceed quota and drive revenue growthDrive excellence in executionBuild employee and customer excitement by articulating Humacyte’s vision and missionBuild, lead and inspire a high performing sales team that delivers results and exceeds expectations ensuring they are motivated, developed, incentivized, and retainedCreate a winning culture based on trust and accountability, holding self and team members to a high standard of excellenceDemonstrate proficiency in product and procedural knowledge, competitive insight, market understanding and healthcare economicsSpend a significant amount of time in the field to coach, assess rep competency, drive customer engagement, monitor market trends and competition, review results, set performance expectations, revise professional development plans and business plansStrong emotional intelligence with excellent written and verbal communication skills and active listening skillsMotivates team to view challenges as opportunities and demonstrates proficiency in problem solvingAttend key medical conferences and symposiumsManage to the assigned budget and review Sales Representatives expense reports to ensure compliance with company policiesManage KOL relationships to identify themes across customer needs and drive core initiatives to improve customer success.
