Description
Under general supervision, collects, analyzes, and presents data in support of financial reporting and budgeting. The analyst prepares physician payments and ensures compliance with applicable regulations.
Core CompetenciesPrepares and analyzes physician payment requests to verify compliance with contract terms and ensure proper approval of payment.Maintains physician contract index and scanned physician contracts.Maintains physician contract expiration listing and monthly notice to vice presidents regarding contract renewal.Maintains and reports average daily census for Budget Office and Administration.Gathers and reports monthly statistics.Prepares financial analyses as needed for variance explanations, budget, audit, and other requests as required.Works with Decision Support team to develop dashboards in Power BI using census data.Prepares graphic presentations of statistical and/or financial data.Participates in hospital performance improvement activities when requested.Develops queries and returns accurate data files to serve as the foundation of the analyses.Manages and manipulates files maintaining content integrity.Prepares complex written and graphic reports that explain and interpret data trends.
EducationDegree Program:
Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
ExperienceRelevant work experience may substitute for minimum education.
Compensation Range$75,000 - $122,000 / AnnuallyThree years financial analysis experience.
