The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate law, business law, employment law, and litigation. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred. This position requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role.Responsibilities:Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute in civil litigation.Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses and provide legal advice.Conduct research and analysis of legal problems to formulate legal strategy.Prepare and draft legal documents, such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.Negotiate settlements in civil disputes.Act as an agent, trustee, guardian, or executor for businesses or individuals.Specialize in representing clients in lawsuits involving real estate law, business law, and employment law.Provide legal advice on business transactions, claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations.Select jurors, argue motions, meet with judges, and question witnesses during the course of a trial.Present and summarize cases to judges and juries.Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.Qualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admitted to the state bar and in good standing.Minimum of 3+ years of experience in litigation, real estate law, business law, and employment law.Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels within the organization.Strong negotiating skills with both legal and financial/commercial issues.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.High degree of professional ethics, integrity and gravitas.Excellent judgement and analytical skills.First class interpersonal and communication skills.Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred.Interested in hearing more?
