Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching software products.Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration frameworks.Preferred qualifications:Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.7 years of experience working with cloud storage (e.g., data warehousing, virtualization, SQL, Hadoop, MapReduce, data pipelines, stream processing, and/or relational databases).5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, and/or cross-business projects.Experience with Backup and Restore and/or Disaster Recovery.About The JobGoogle's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. The Storage Everywhere team's vision is to enable customers to run containerized stateful applications (powered by Kubernetes) across any Anthos platform - on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), in hybrid and in multi-cloud environments. These environments are realized by Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Anthos, and the newly announced Google Distributed Cloud. Google is bringing our cloud anywhere with Google Distributed Cloud—in your data center, at the edge, and in the cloud. The Storage Everywhere team is building the Storage solutions to allow stateful applications to seamlessly run across all of these environments.
