Legal Counsel

Reporting directly to the SVP of Legal Services and General Counsel, legal counsel will provide legal guidance and support to various Tarkett Sports departments, including legal, operations, sales, IT, marketing, and finance departments, by performing a variety of corporate, transactional, commercial, and other legal tasks.
Independently draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including but not limited to construction project contracts, procurement and distribution agreements, real property leases, software agreements, NDAs, sponsorship agreements, customer service agreements, master services agreements, group purchasing organizations (GPO), requests for bids/proposals, purchase orders, and other various contracts, based on operational needs.
Work closely with project and construction management Teams to anticipate, monitor, and resolve project-related issues or disputes, coordinate proper approval and document signatures, and communicate with customers and subcontractors.
Provide legal support to internal group stakeholders on diverse legal matters.
Support for various ongoing legal projects, legal documents, and litigation files, as required. Ensure organization and proper follow-up of open legal matters.
Competencies:(2-3 years) Knowledge of contract negotiation, legal terms, and general legal principles;Legal administration skills;Attention to details;Strong legal and business acumen;Strong organizational skills;Ability to work independently and as part of a team;Ability to manage multiple tasks/files at one time;Flexible and supportive;Good writing/drafting and communication skills;Ability to prioritize and work under tight deadlines;Ability to maintain calm under pressure;Quick learner;Maintain strict confidentiality requirements;
