In this role, you will support multiple key technical projects from start to finish and help set technical priorities for Remora, all while tackling the defining challenge of our time.We’re a 50-person climate tech startup based in Detroit, MI. We build a device that captures a semi-truck’s carbon emissions directly from the tailpipe. We sell the CO2 to end-users and split that revenue with our customers, so our device pays for itself in just a couple of years.Responsibilities:Support multiple technical projects from start to finish, including developing plans, setting deadlines, tracking dependencies, removing blockers, enlisting members of other teams when necessary, and communicating progress with the rest of the team.Track project performance so needed changes can be made quickly, and persistent challenges can be brought to the attention of the leadership team.Strengthen our culture of ownership and accountability within the Technology team.Find the right balance between creative disorder and productive order; avoid imposing artificial or unhelpful deadlines or structures of organization.Develop deep technical understanding of Remora’s technology to help technical leadership set and update technical priorities.Requirements:5+ years of technical project management experience2+ years of engineering experienceExperience bringing a novel hardware product to marketHere's what we value:You want to join a fast-paced, fast-growing startup.You care deeply about reducing carbon emissions and building power for the historically excluded communities most affected by those emissions.You fully own projects, and you identify and solve problems through completion.You adapt to change and appreciate failures as learning opportunities, constructively sharing them with your teammates.You improve your teammates’ performance through collaboration.
