Job Overview:

The Operations organization at LPL is seeking a Vice President, Operations Strategy who will be responsible for supporting strategic planning and execution specific to the long-term transformation of the Operations business unit through their work with senior and executive-level leaders. The ideal candidate will bring a demonstrated track record of influencing senior leadership, collaborating across stakeholder groups and leading key change efforts as well as critical skills in developing and leading high-performance teams.

Responsibilities:

Assist in developing Operations-wide strategy: Partner with leadership team to establish organization level target state vision which will serve as the anchor for all go-forward functional and investment strategies by initiative.Validate and track initiative level strategies: Review proposed strategies and the associated governance processes to ensure OKRs are clearly defined and accompanied by a thoughtful approach for success monitoring.Refine execution level strategies: Gain a deeper understanding of the current Operations functional taxonomy and identify opportunities to improve business outcomes while also surfacing wins to executive leadership.Create portfolio management process: Ensure investments are in activities that will drive the greatest business value and will support our overall business transformation objectives.Optimize suite of Operating metrics: After aligning on the right level of success metrics with leadership team, partner with the Data and Analytics team to establish an automated process for capturing key qualitative data points on a regular basis.Support development of executive level updates: Establish a repeatable process for efficiently creating updates for executive leadership including the CEO, CFO and other executive level partners.Act as Cross Org Liaison: Leverage existing relationships with Product and Business Development teams to ensure all levels of Ops strategy are inclusive of actionable insights from client feedback and prospect pipeline requirements.

Requirements:

BA/BS in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or related field.7+ years of experience with strategic planning, executive-level communication and project management.

Core Competencies:

This candidate should be a strategic thinker, effective and succinct communicator, problem-solver, highly motivated and thrives in a changing environment.A proven history of building and maintaining excellent relationships and partnering with executives at all levels to help drive change.Very strong deck building and storytelling skills; background in visual design and telling stories with data a plus.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferences:

Consulting background and experience.Familiarity with Lean Management practices.

Pay Range:

$128,400-$192,600/year. Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
