Founded in Silicon Valley, TheKey has grown from a single location to service coverage throughout North America enabling clients to live life on their own terms, in their own homes.Job Summary / Purpose:As the Sr. Financial Analyst you will work directly with the Head of Financial Planning, Analysis & Strategy to prepare financial models for management to support decision making. These will include strategic plans, budgets, forecasts and various ad hoc analyses. In addition, you will help produce internal management reporting including key metrics and analyze variances to plan and key business trends.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Help update financial models for 100+ locationsAnalyze financial performance vs. forecast, vs. plan, and vs. prior year and effectively communicate resultsHelp prepare monthly data reporting packages that includes analysis of key business trends and actual versus plan variances, including comprehensive explanations of differences as well as the impact of business drivers to budget/forecastAssist with value-added analysis and provide decision support for special projects and initiativesMake recommendations regarding cost saving or profitability improvement strategiesStreamline existing monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processesProduce routine and ad hoc financial operational models to support senior management in decision makingAssist with maintenance and administration financial planning tools/softwareOther duties as assigned by your supervisorRequired Skills, Education and Certifications:Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university in finance or accounting; and a minimum of 3-5 years related financial analysis experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in financial analysisPractical experience in financial modeling and forecastingUnderstanding of GAAP in a standard cost environmentStrong analytical, communication and problem-solving skillsStrong ERP and financial systems background required (Netsuite or similar ERP preferred)Experience utilizing Business Intelligence tools (Tableau or similar) to efficiently process and update reporting and forecasting modelsExcellent written and verbal communication skills & strong attention to detail with a conviction for meeting deadlinesHighly assertive and ability to lead from a sense of responsibility, rather than authoritySelf-starter; able to drive results with minimal directionExcellent organizational skillsPreferred Skills, Education and Certifications:Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry up to 15-20 poundsAbility to sit, stand and walk for prolonged period of time throughout the work dayAbility to use standard office equipment such as personal computer, laptop, telephone, photocopy machine, etc.The information contained here is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of the duties and responsibilities of the job, nor is it intended to be an all-inclusive list of the skills and abilities required to do the job.
