You’ll help develop the next generation of residential products, apps, and services. You’ll gain experience in many different areas and have the opportunity to make a real impact on the company and real estate industry.This position is located in Washington, DC and offers a hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop high performance web applications used by hundreds of thousands of users globallyDesign and develop using Object Oriented design principles and software design patterns to attain high reusability and maintainabilityPromote consistent architecture patterns for design and development within and across Homes development teamsCollaborate closely with other Software Engineers across the organizationAdvocate standards-driven technologyFacilitate discussions among other .NET and database developers to exchange new ideas and improvementsContinually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices that can be used to strengthen CoStar’s technology platform and development practicesBasic QualificationsBachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college (preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field)A track record of commitment to prior employers3+ years of production development experience with C# .Net (or .Net Core)Experience delivering products that meet specifications and performance SLAExperienced in unit, performance, and automation testingDeeply understand what drives the business for which you are building softwarePreferred Qualifications and SkillsExperience in relational database design (MS SQL or MySQL) including performance tuningExperience with AWS S3, SQS, Dynamo, ElastiCache, Apache Kafka, and DatadogDemonstrate working knowledge of Vue, React, or Angular in TypeScriptA demonstrable track record of building and launching successful products and platformsWhat’s in it for YouWhen you join CoStar Group, you’ll experience a collaborative and innovative culture working alongside the best and brightest to empower our people and customers to succeed.We offer you generous compensation and performance-based incentives.
