Job DescriptionJefferson Solutions, the well-respected government consulting company of Jefferson Consulting Group, an award-winning woman-owned small business, is seeking a Data Scientist Junior to provide ongoing support to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Administration for Children and Families (ACF).
Duties:
Create team charter to define Management Services Roles and Responsibilities
Provide program support and create SOPs
Evaluate current training programs and support needs for executive officers, including based on feedback from executive officers, and make recommendations to resolve deficiencies in content that require application of complete training or developing new SOPs and guidance
Develop and manage a web-based Portal such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, etc. to provide support, guidance, resources and references for the Executive Officers and HR liaisons
Run the development of the Portal from design through testing and implementation to user training and program evaluation
Ensure most updated guidance, such as HR policy, job aid, forms, etc. are uploaded on the Portal
Provide oversight and ensure the accuracy, relevance, and standardization of the information contained in the portal
Work closely with Organizational Development Team members to determine the best approach to organize data and create greater efficiency in knowledge management
Serve as a point of contact and a consultant in operational and organizational reporting
Derive meaning from big data (i.e., data sets that may be large, disparate, unstructured, and/or complex)
Analyze and summarize data calls from various sources of data collection such as staffing plans, full-time employee ceilings, work schedules, etc.
Complete significant ad hoc reports that can have a major impact and influence for new policies and legislation and provide complex various data requests
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Data Science
1-3 years of progressive work experience in data analytics and data presentations
Note: Only U.S. citizens or non-U.S. citizens who have lived in the U.S. at least three of the last five years are eligible to provide services under this task order. The exception to this is an incumbent non-U.S. citizen employee with current, valid security clearance for physical and logical access to CDC and embassy facilities and network.
