A Bit About UsWe are a global investment firm with a team of over 250 employees.Why join us?Medical/Dental/Vision coverageHSA with employer contributions100% Paid Parental leaveFlexible work schedules - hybrid/remote flexibility401k with matchLife and AD&D insurancePTO and paid holidaysJob DetailsWe are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and experienced Associate General Counsel to join our expanding team.ResponsibilitiesProvide legal and strategic advice on derivatives transactions matters, including ISDA agreements and prime brokerage agreements.Assist with AML/KYC requests and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.Collaborate with the business teams to understand their needs and provide tailored legal advice.Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts and agreements.Manage and mitigate legal risks by designing and implementing company policies and procedures.Stay up-to-date on changes to legislation and regulations that may impact the company.Represent the company in any legal disputes or proceedings.Collaborate with outside counsel when necessary.QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar licenseMinimum of 3+ years of experience as a practicing attorney in a related field.Demonstrable experience with ISDA agreements, derivatives transactions, prime brokerage agreements, and assisting with AML/KYC requests.Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successfully closed deals.Strong understanding of Investment Advisers Act of 1940.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines.High ethical standards and professional integrity.Candidates must be based in Florida or be able to travel to Florida regularly.This is an exciting opportunity for a legal professional looking to broaden their experience and make a significant impact in a dynamic, growing company.
