To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide direct customer service support for Employee Benefits clients.Prepare new business and renewal bid specifications, proposals, and related reports.Perform marketing functions, including carrier negotiations and appropriate follow-up.Contact clients and/or underwriters to obtain additional information or answer questions.Review all contracts and/or booklets for accuracy.Assist the accounting department in reconciliation and/or maintenance of client accounts.Resolve policy and coverage related concerns for clients, insurance carriers, and producers.Consistently meet all Brown & Brown established Quality Control Practices and Timelines.Follow the established guidelines for workflow and system documentation.Assist in training and mentoring of new department employees.Perform sales and service functions on selected client groups without producer involvement, e.g., House accounts.Other duties as assigned.Relevant Education/Experience/Skills:

Current Washington State Insurance License and appropriate Non-Resident Licenses.Valid Driver’s License.Must be willing to attend continuing education classes to maintain the license.Minimum 5 years of recent agency experience handling the service of a large multi-line book of business.Possess a thorough understanding of all funding options, e.g., fully insured, self-insured, etc.Strong writing skills - ability to translate technical information in a manner understandable to all levels of clients.Experience with Agency Management Software Systems.This position requires routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle. Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are a requirement of this position.Compensation:
