It directly supports the Broker(s) during the sales phase of the business; then once the account is sold, assumes complete responsibility of maintaining an extremely positive relationship between Acrisure and our clients. Primary duty includes delivering renewals and re-selling the account at renewal as well as all day-to-day service work for the client.Essential Duties / Performance Profile:Prepare, develop and deliver renewal presentations to clients, including completing the renewal report, recommending alternative options, arranging meetings with clients, presenting the renewal at the client’s place of business and re-selling Acrisure’s services to our client every year.Develop and maintain effective working relationships in liaison role with insurance company service partner contacts (such as underwriters, sales and service representatives) and client contacts.Act as liaison between client and insurance companies to independently resolve all service problems, assisting the client in resolving billing, claim, eligibility, COBRA and customer service problems.Independently manage Employee booklets and enrollment kits with input from broker and team leader.Assist in the communication of benefits in enrollment meetings with clients and insurance companies.Assist in the online enrollment process with various carriers and online enrollment systems.Prepare and obtain employee enrollment materials.Make regular in-person service/relationship calls to clients.Prepare reports deemed necessary for team leader and/or broker.Keep all information on accounts accurate and up to date in share drive and database.Communicate to our clients “Our Value Added Service”.Work on special projects as assigned by management.Adhere to all published rules, regulations and procedures of Acrisure.Develop and maintain positive client relations.Develop, coordinate the development of, and present employee benefit plan evaluations to clients/prospects with different funding arrangements for both existing and new business.Assist clients with service issues and facilitate employee meetings, if requested.Develop and maintain professional business relationships with insurance carriers/markets and service providers.Provide and develop census and prepare the RFP for the renewal process for clients.Be actively involved with professional and/or civic associations on behalf of Acrisure.Provide guidance and mentorship to Account Coordinators or other team members.Provide input into the strategic planning of the Group Benefits Department.Qualifications and Job Skills:College degree and a minimum of 5 years insurance agency or company experience specializing in employee benefits or a combination of education and work experience.Thorough knowledge of group health insurance, life, and disability insurance plans including small group, large group, self-insured, ASO and captives.Thorough knowledge of compliance in relation to all employee benefits.Expert use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.Excellent oral, presentation and written communication skills and command of the English language.Ability to communicate and build relationships with clients and carriers.Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact with a variety of people on different levels.Capable of working on multiple tasks simultaneously, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines despite frequent interruptions.Ability to work in a team environment with the ability to make independent decisions.Ability to think creatively and negotiate resolution.Hold a valid Life and Health Insurance License.Must have a professional corporate appearance and manner.Ability to travel to clients and Acrisure meetings and trainings as needed.The above statements are intended to be a representative summary of the major responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job.
