The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) is a healthcare administrator responsible for overseeing the effective management of medical centers. Key responsibilities include:Managing clinical operations and liaising between administration and medical staff.Ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of medical care.Directing staff and developing policies for the organization’s clinical programs.Working closely with clinic staff, directors, and physicians to maintain quality and service standards.Overseeing the implementation of quality improvement efforts to enhance clinical performance and ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.Evaluating developments and innovations in medical care, making recommendations for new practices and procedures.Advising the CEO and medical teams on matters impacting patient care.Requirements:MD or DO.State License to practice medicine.Board Certified in Anesthesiology.Typically reports to the CEO and oversees a business unit, division, or corporate function with significant organizational impact. Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives. The CMO should possess acquired business acumen and leadership experience to become the top function or organizational head.Start Date: June 1Region: WA, NE, OR, ND, SD, ID, MT, WY, CO, UT
