We are looking for an innovative experienced product leader with a track record for driving new product capabilities from concept to successful delivery and market leadership. This role will report to, and work closely with the SVP & General Manager, Life Sciences and will be responsible for helping to guide the future of key areas of the Life Sciences Cloud product portfolio. It will require leading a high-performance team of Product Managers to engage customers, execute strategy, and define roadmaps for the Life Sciences Cloud product portfolio. This role will also work with engineering and UX to deliver and guide the execution of deliverables to realize the business impact.The role is highly cross-functional and requires a candidate that enjoys navigating ambiguity, working in a fast-paced startup-like environment, aligning stakeholders, collaborating with teams across time zones and thinking globally. This leader is responsible for ACV and pipeline growth for the products, working in strong collaboration with the Industry Solution and Strategy team, sales, sales enablement, alliances, marketing and other product teams. This individual is expected to work with senior-level customer stakeholders to drive adoption.Responsibilities

Define and execute a cohesive product roadmap including market needs, product vision and strategy, roadmap creation and communication, release planning, requirements gathering, and functional specification.Develop and nurture a high-performance team of Product Managers and link performance to release outcomes.Build a vision, roadmap, and strategy for Life Sciences Cloud and evangelize it with customers, partners, and employees.Leverage market analysis, competitive knowledge, and customer research to define product roadmap.Synthesize the needs across Industries to build common components that can act as multipliers across different Industries.Work with our San Francisco and India product teams to deliver 3 releases a year.Collaborate with other Salesforce Clouds and stakeholders within the Industries product team to build cross-product capabilities.Engage directly with customers during pre-sales and post-sales implementations to ensure product success.Drive Product Advisory Councils in key regions globally.Engage with our partner ecosystem to identify opportunities to augment or extend our product capabilities.Qualifications

High energy and passion for the job.Leadership DNA, proven ability to excite, motivate, and lead a product team.Experience managing product management and/or development teams.Equivalent of 10+ years of product management or similar experience.5+ years of experience building, implementing, and developing applications on the Salesforce.com platform.Experience leading and working with teams internationally.Deep domain knowledge of customer engagement processes in Life Sciences.Expertise in building industry-specific solutions.Experience in fast-paced startup environments.Strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication skills.Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines or equivalent experience.Ability to lead with Salesforce values and culture.Outstanding interpersonal skills that span across various cultures and professional backgrounds.Exceptional leadership capabilities.Accommodations

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $280,700 to $449,200. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
