We are looking for a Senior Product Manager - Azure OpenAI to join our group and help us lead the next generation of Azure OpenAI and AI Platform features. As a Senior Product Manager - Azure OpenAI, you will be responsible for designing and developing new features within the Azure OpenAI Service including REST API design and other tooling for interacting with OpenAI’s models.

Responsibilities

The role involves collaborating closely across the Azure AI Platform, Azure OpenAI and OpenAI teams.Work cross-functionally to bring features live to the serviceDrive product requirements definition, product planning and product design (including writing PRDs) of new features and enhancementsClearly communicate product benefits to our users and internal stakeholdersLead matrixed internal Microsoft teams and partners using a breadth of technical knowledge and industry experienceAnticipate, identify, and mitigate blockers to customer success goalsCollaborate with key roles including core team of engineers, applied researchers, and others to deliver full Microsoft value to customersShare actionable insight, learnings, feedback to drive continuous improvementsEmbody our Culture and ValuesQualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience4+ years of experience in product development, including delivering one or more AI, cloud services, enterprise grade solutions, and mobile apps2+ years of practical experience in AI techniques & tools, as evidenced by prior projects2+ years working on REST APIs or other code-first productsPreferred Qualifications

Prior hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) such as OpenAI and others, Azure AI, Azure ML or their equivalent is highly preferredCustomer focus and a deep commitment to delivering products that create customer value and delightful experiencesEnterprise customer and partner engagement skills including ability to create a delivery plan, track progress, and resolve issues, risks, and blockers as they ariseEffective communication skills with a broad range of audiences and ability to influence without authorityA high tolerance for ambiguity and changeOutstanding problem solving and conflict-resolution skills across a set of technical, product, and business challengesExperience with enterprise solutions and a deep technical understanding of software and hardwareProduct Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
