Act as an advisor to software and other engineering teams for best practices in security.Develop tools to facilitate penetration testing and red team exercises to continuously evaluate the security of our systems.Plan, coordinate and participate in red or purple team exercises.Help identify and prioritize potential areas of vulnerability to be assessed, corrected and audited.Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or engineering discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience in the field.3+ years experience in web application security, penetration testing, threat modeling or similar experience.Experience across multiple areas of security including physical, network, encryption, access, authentication, etc.Basic software development or scripting experience, for developing exploits or other tools related to security.Experience identifying security vulnerabilities and risks.Able to perform duties autonomously without much supervision.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Bonus

Active US Government security clearance (not needed).Previous experience assessing the security of space systems, sensors, telemetry, tracking and control (TT&C) systems.Experience with RF technologies.Knowledge of the Linux operating system or real-time operating systems.Understanding of cryptography, digital signatures, public key infrastructure or similar areas of security.U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status Required (To comply with U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the United States, or other protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).Our mission and our products are meant to connect the world and everyone in it, regardless of gender, race, creed, or any other distinction.
