On Client Capabilities, our teams serve customers who are dual-fold: Slack’s End Users.Responsible for creating and driving the product vision for how Slack can be the best experience for users across Windows, macOS, and web.

Meet users where they are on their devices, deciding how and where native capabilities and Slack’s own design patterns can best meet their needs.

Evolve the complete navigation and information architecture to help users get to the right information at the right time, anticipating their needs and marrying function with productivity.

Identify the highest impact work, plan & prioritize that work, and deliver improvements in a measurable way. Along the way, you’ll partner with colleagues in research, product, engineering, design and customer support to create a healthy, hard-working team.

Run collaborative user research studies to find user experience touch points and identify core use cases that our customers rely on to get work done.

Own features and prototype plans end-to-end, including writing product specs, driving cross-functional execution, making thoughtful product decisions along the way, and sharing insights and results throughout the company.

Set a clear go-to-market strategy in partnership with product marketing.
