Array Labs is building a distributed radar imaging constellation to power the first accurate, real-time 3D map of the world. As an RF Test Engineer on the Radar Imaging team, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the design of the first orbital MIMO radar imaging system. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the implementation and performance verification of the entire radar and communication front-end assembly, rapidly advancing designs from clean sheets of paper to operational deployment in space.RESPONSIBILITIES:

Rapidly prototype, test, and validate solutions for radar imaging and communications systems.Work closely with ASIC/FPGA, RF/antenna, and software engineers to design and validate high-performance digital communication and radar imaging systems.Collect and analyze data and collaborate with other engineers to understand system performance and help resolve design issues.Write automation software to interact with test equipment, instrumentation, and units under test.Create hardware requirements, specifications, and test procedures.Develop and implement test plans for hardware verification and validation.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, or related field.11+ years of experience in RF test equipment such as signal generators, oscilloscopes, and spectrum, network, and vector analyzers.Excellent teamwork and communication skills.Learns new concepts rapidly, completely, and in a self-directed manner.High levels of self-motivation and personal accountability.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under significant time constraints.Proficient in MATLAB, C/C++, and/or Python.PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Master’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, or similar.8+ years of experience in working with electrical schematics to create and improve test plans and root cause issues.8+ years of experience working with environmental testing (vibration, shock, thermal, etc.).8+ years of experience in testing and debugging RF electronics (radar, consumer RF devices).Experience with FCC or equivalent (IEC, ETSI) test procedures.Experience with phased array, microstrip, or patch antenna testing.Experience writing scripting software to perform automated test plans and procedures.Experience performing RF transmitter and/or receiver testing.Knowledge of transmitter and receiver design, algorithms, and hardware architectures.Knowledge of FPGA and ASIC operation and test methodologies and procedures.Knowledge of A/D and D/A modes of operation and testing methodologies.ITAR REQUIREMENTS:
